Dr. Rebecca Hernandez, Community Archivist, offers a presentation titled "American Indians 101". It is an introductory presentation that contains information about reservations, tribes, tribal enrollment, California Natives, Urban Indians, treaties, the Removal and Relocation Acts, and current issues in Indian country.

NOTE: As of December 2019, there are now 574 federally recognized tribes in the United States. The Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Montana just became the 574th federally recognized tribe in the U.S. Be mindful that the number of federally recognized tribes changes.
