Student Internship

The AIRC hires new interns throughout the year. For more information please contact the AIRC (airc@ucsc.edu).

 

Interns at the AIRC work on a variety of projects and events. Interns interact with the Native community on campus, build strong relationships with fellow interns, staff, and faculty, while gaining experience in program and event planning.

Internship Details

Paid internship for up to 10 hours a week.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of American Indian issues, campus Native American community, and student organizations is preferred
  • Responsible, resourceful and possess initiative
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other AIRC interns and interns from other resource centers
